Why should U.S. students choose Canada for their college or university studies?
- We're cheap(er). 1 U.S. dollar buys you $1.25 Canadian bucks of stuff. Including tuition.
- You get to travel internationally. But Canada's right next door to the U.S. So if you decide you're homesick, it's easy to get home.
- Canadian education is recognized and respected worldwide. Most of our schools are public colleges and universities with great technical and academic learning institutions so you don't have to worry about graduating with just an expensive piece of paper. Instead, you get a useful education to help set you up for a successful career.
- Everyone in Canada is from somewhere else somewhere in their history. So you'll meet people from different cultural backgrounds.
- We're boring and nice - so much so, that no one really hates us. Partially because everyone knows or has family in Canada.
- We're relatively safe, partially because no one really feels strongly enough about us to hate us and partially because we're nice (see above point).
- You can travel or study in a French-speaking environment without leaving North America.
- We have the best ethnic food from around the world.
- Our job market is HOT!!!
- We have a great music scene.
- We're environmentally friendly and have lots of clean water and air.
- Even with global warming, we'll still have lots of clean water.
- We have less bugs than other places.
- We have a stable government.
- We have free or cheap health care.
- We're like a cleaner version of the U.S.
